The business was started by Nickie and has been open to the public since 2005.  Our studio is operated as a professional business.  We limit our workload so that our projects are completed in a timely manner.  Nickie has been a flat artist since youth and holds a Master's degree in Business Administration.    Her attention to detail and artistic accuracy enabled her to quickly become an accomplished competitor in the taxidermy competition circuit.

Rick Carter is the only three-time National Taxidermist of the Year in the United States,.  Over the past 15 years, Rick has won numerous National and World honors in the Division of Excellence and Master's categories at major taxidermy competitions.  Rick earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Art Education in 1979.  He has been practicing taxidermy for over 25 years and is now a sculptor for WASCO, a leading taxidermy supplier, as well as a seminar instructor and competition judge.
